What if you're already doing it? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

There's a man who lives in a little town in Maine, surrounded by a wrought iron fence, decorated with bats, gargoyles and dragons.
His home looks like something out of a horror film.

Inside of this mansion, he toils away at his craft, living his purpose, every damn day.

He's been doing this for over 50 years.
In the early days from a desk in the laundry room of the one bedroom apartment he shared with his growing family.

The piece that launched his career was pulled from the trash can in his home, a trailer the family had 'moved up' to, partly because he was
holding 2 jobs; one to meet their most basic needs (even while killing his soul a bit), and the other as a creative outlet for a bit of extra
cash to help them out in a pinch. And you know how it is, if extra money comes in, something is there to pinch you. Brakes gone
in a car, an extra professional fee you didn't expect, a medical emergency.
S%@t happens.

Life was hard in the early days.
And I mean hard.
It would have been so easy for him to give up, commit to his day job, climb the ranks and leave his passion for 'real work.'

If he'd done that, we wouldn't have books and movies like;
πŸ“– Carrie
πŸ“– The Green Mile
πŸ“– Shawshank Redemption (my favourite movie of all time)
πŸ“– Stand by me
πŸ“– It
πŸ“– Misery
πŸ“– The Shining
πŸ“– Cujo
πŸ“š πŸ“š πŸ“š just to name a few.

The man I'm talking about is, of course, Stephen King.
The legend who's pumped out more content than most people on the planet.
To date, he's written 65 books, over 200 short stories, and even a few Netflix series. And he's still going. At 76, he shows no signs of slowing down.

To be honest, I've never been a fan of the scarier stuff he writes but I've loved some of his foundational work. The Green Mile, Shawshank, and Stand by Me are classics that I've watched over and over again.

This summer, I spent a week or so listening to his book 'On Writing' on audible. He narrates it and it was one of those books that I wanted to get to the end of but I DIDN'T want to get to the end of because I was enjoying it so much. You know the kind? They hook you with every word and you feel like you're inside the person's life. That's how that book is. If you haven't read it, and you love to be a fly on the wall as a character struggles to live a life of purpose, On Writing is for you.

If you'd love to get a snippet of how and why he does what he does, check out this episode of the Unjaded Podcast.
It was my favourite episode (so far) to write and record because Stephen King is living his design, probably without even knowing it.

And you know what, Reader, you probably are too.
Or, you know, somewhere inside of you, what your purpose is but because you're not living it, you feel angst.

This πŸ‘†πŸ»is the magic of understanding your Human Design.
It's often like meeting yourself for the first time.
You look at that bodygraph (and have me explaining what it means to you) and it's like coming home to yourself.

Suddenly, it all makes sense.
When we look at your purpose, you'll go 'huh. I kind of do that now in my life.' or 'wow. 'I've always wanted to do that.' or..... ' that's the thing I set out to do but I stopped somewhere along the way.'

Whatever the case may be, a Human Design reading can help you to feel on purpose again.
